Currently we are a group of around 20 parents, two local councillors, community members and various members of the Mackie Academy teaching staff. 

Mackie Academy’s Head Teacher, Louise Moir, is present at all meetings along with members of the teaching staff as and when they are required.

We appoint a new chairperson and deputy chairperson as required by the constitution of the Parent Council that can be found here.

Any parent and / or carer with a child at the school can volunteer themselves to be a member.  You can drop us an email at mackiepc@hotmail.co.uk or simply come along to the next meeting and see what we are all about.
