The Mackie Academy Parent Council AGM will take place on Tuesday, 1st September 2026 at 19.00 in the library at Mackie Academy.

Any parent and / or carer who has a young person at Mackie Academy is welcome to attend.  Attending the AGM is not a commitment to joining the Parent Council but we hope that by finding out more about the work of the AGM at the meeting that you will consider taking on the role.

The agenda for the AGM allows you to see what will be discussed and the importance of parent involvement in the success of the school.  The note of last year's AGM can be found here.

The meeting dates and times that are proposed for 2026-27 will be confirmed at our AGM on Tuesday, 1st September 2026 at 19.00 in the library at Mackie Academy.  There are six meetings throughout the year, each lasting two hours from 19.00 to 21.00.

Anyone who wishes to join a Parent Council meeting as an observer is more than welcome by contacting the Parent Council chair in advance on mackiepc@hotmail.co.uk
